Do Life Challenge: Week Eight: What I picked!

I picked the challenge to change up my running route.

I do the same route, more or less, every time, regardless of the distance.

Leave my apartment, head down 17th, then Jefferson, then down 18th as far as I can before looping down and coming back on 20th. I sometimes turn up Raleigh all the way to 24th and around Trendy-third and the hospital before coming back down to 20th and coming home, looping back onto 18th and then bam.

So, I love it because I don’t have to think about it. I know just where to turn to do 2 miles, a 5k, and four miles (more or less .. my measuring past a 5k is inexact but I can estimate fairly well based on the time I spend running).

So, there’s SO much left of Portland to see and run in and maybe I ought to start doing it, especially since it’s starting to get dark a teensy bit later and I am going right after work.

Bam bam bam.

Tonight; four miles (I’m attempting 16 miles this week EEP)

First, MapMyRun, my location is NOT Portland, TX. And I keep telling you that.

Let’s hope I don’t get killed. Accidentally left my pepperspray at my parents’

Bonus: here’s the elevation for it.

Doesn’t look too bad, eh?
