Yep, changing your route makes it more challenging. Your body can’t operate on muscle memory.

But it’s true. I ran a different route on Saturday, and it was bad. Part of it is that in Tigard, I notice it being VERY windy. Maybe Downtown isn’t as windy with the buildings insulating it? I felt like I was really fighting air, especially on the return 2 miles.
Anyway. This should be interesting. And I think I feel cramps. So we’ll see how amazing/disastrous this becomes.
