That’s why I suggested Novice 1. You’re still pretty new to running and should build up your miles slowly. I’m not, so I’m not sure what my excuse for low miles is. I’m working on that. :)
Yeah so I’m going through and kind of melting together a 10k training (Shamrock Run) and then slowly transitioning to a half marathon after Shamrock. I guess it’s fair to say I’m prolly going to end up doing the 10k for Race for the Roses and then the Foot Traffic Half on July 4th.
Or not. I don’t know. Clearly I want to run not just to go and exercise for 3-4 days a week, but to accomplish stuff. To run longer. And then to run faster. And then to look like Kara Goucher.

Just kidding. She’s fantastic (I read the giant article about her confidence issues while marathon training and it was super helpful in helping me think I Can Do This Stuff).
But my dream isn’t to look like her (although I wouldn’t be disappointed if I did).

But Robyn Lawley’s figure is closer to where I’m aiming at the moment.

Yep, she has one mean, lean body. I like chocolate way too much so I know I’ll never be that lean.
