I have weighed on FOUR different scales this week.
Alex’s - 205-ish
Parents’ - 201
New, “accurate” digital scale - 202.8
Old, less accurate scale - at first 197.8, and then it settled on 201.8
SO I DO NOT KNOW. I think I’ll call my starting weight 202 which means I have 10 pounds of Summer Weight to get off before I can start losing all of the original weight on my frame again.
I’ve decided that every weight milestone I get to will be rewarded with a pedicure, since I really want one but can’t much afford one, so I’ll save my pennies and wait.
190 - pedicure
180 - pedicure, maybe a few “new” sweaters (Goodwill, here I come!)
170 - pedicure, probably a couple pairs of pants by that point
160 - if I get there - pedicure, and we’ll see.
I can’t see myself getting down to 150 because I’m too damn tall to still be curvy but weigh that “little,” probably, but we’ll see. So, I’ve got 4-5 pedicures to budget out for the next 12 months, since that’s about how long I’m giving myself. Seriously, if I lose a pound a week, I’ll be at my UGW by the time summer starts next year.
Slow and steady (and accounting for a birthday, a couple of holidays, etc) wins the race.
